I absolutely do not condone graffiti (at least in this form) in any way. It seems to have gotten worse in the past few years too. Anyways, I was sitting in traffic this morning when I noticed this Dave Buhler for Mayor billboard had been defaced. For pure journalistic reasons I thought to catch it on film as these workers were racing to cover it up.
I don't know very much about Dave Buhler and even though his campaign advertising is goofy and annoying, did it deserve to be tagged like this?

I only wish vandals were better spellers.

That's funny, I didn't even notice.

What journalistic reasons are those that require you to photograph the results of a criminal who is only working to destory property to get attention?

The photojournalistic elements regardless of the sign are interesting to me. With the two photos together you see the rush to cover up the billboard in order to control the message. I think it's simply a sign of the times, forgive the pun.
