All this talk of bike safety at CityWeekly and I'm guilty as the rest of them! I really DO want to change. I definitely need better role models (ahem!). Speaking of helmets, if you're looking for something different than speeding bullet, fish head styles check out the Bern Baker or Watts (shown above), Giro Flak or Catlike 360 - all will make you look like a bad dirt bike deud while simulusly (I made that up) protecting your light bulb.

The minimalistic Veloheld by Neongrau-id shows how pure cycling can be. Devoid of all unnecessary things like gear shift or excessive graphics. Limited to 100 in black or white/black (shown). [Via Deezeen]
Norwegians Ungdomskulen seem like a nice 'rock' band with a sense of humor. Try them on for size. The video reuls. (official site)
This is from April but every time I see it I remember why I love futuristic architecture. This is a rendering/animation of the new Guggenheim Hermitage Museum in Vilnius, Lithuania to be built by one of the worlds truly amazing architects Zaha Hadid. (Via Deezeen)
I once had a friend who papered several walls of his apartment with book pages. It was really very cool looking and other than the polyurethane and elbow grease, didn't cost anything. I found a few websites today that featured the same idea, one using newspaper.

Local Filthy Gorgeous fashion designer Keith Bryce is the next in a long line of Utah reality show participants. I met Keith when I mixed music for two of his fashion shows at the Utah Arts Festival in years past. We wish him the best of luck on Project Runway 5 which premiers this Wednesday on Bravo.
