With over 100 worldwide magazine features, write-ups  and record reviews to date, Jay Tripwire has moved from a cornerstone in the West Coast warehouse scene of the early 90's, to performing in over 200 cities around the globe. His signature fusion of Detroit textures and intricate rhythms with a classic house touch has pushed him "ahead of everyone else," according to MUZIK.

While his personal arsenal of re-edits and comfort in arranging extended DJ sets lasting eight hours or more keeps him consistently booking tour dates, it's his over 250,000 vinyl records sold with 100+ releases and remixes on some of the finest underground house labels that he's perhaps most known for. His productions have been called "a DJ's dream packed with the finest tools from the trade" by URB, and that he's "responsible for some of the most exciting underground house music to come out of North America in recent years" by DJ Magazine.

His music has been featured on numerous commercially released mix CD's from Cocoon, Fabric, Renaissance, Journeys by DJ, Ultra & Bedrock by many major artists, and has been supported by a diverse spectrum of dance culture from DJs such as John Digweed and Laurent Garnier to Kerri Chandler and Mark Farina. He even has bass patches on numerous synths named after him, making Jay Tripwire a true legend in the music industry.

Cupcakes To The Rescue

Mini's Cupcakes has been calling my name for months now. I always seem to cruise past it on my bike when it's not open but the other day however I made a special trip to discover their delightful cupcake concoctions. Mini's 'cuppies' are just the right size, contain the best ingredients, no fillers, preservatives or additives and their frostings are made with real butter and cream cheese. My favorites were the popular 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', the 'Orangesicle' and the 'Margaritaville' - made with real tequila!
