LONDON (AFX) - British luxury goods company Burberry Group PLC has torn up a contract with Kate Moss after the model was recently alleged to have been photographed taking cocaine.
'At the current time we had one project scheduled with Kate for this autumn and in the circumstances both Kate and Burberry have mutually agreed that it is inappropriate to go ahead,' Burberry said in a statement.
Swedish clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB yesterday dumped Moss as the face of its upcoming Stella McCartney collection advertising campaign. The BBC earlier reported she had also been dropped by French fashion house Chanel. [email@example.com]
