Muhammed Yunis

Salt Lake City, Film & TelevisionJesse WalkerComment

I got to meet a Nobel Peace Prize laureate during Sundance! Muhammed Yunis (4th from left), a Bangladeshi banker and economist invented the concept of microcredit among his other good deeds and was awarded the prize in 2006. I had the opportunity to shake his hand after helping my friends at Fleur de Sel Catering set-up a fundraiser around the documentary film premier for To Catch a Dollar: Muhammad Yunus Banks on America a few weeks ago. Fer neat!

Thanks to Dallas at for taking this great photo. Click for full size, (notice I'm wearing my blue velvet suit.)
