Jesse Walker (SLC/NiteLite Resident & Creator)

Recently crowned "The Den Mother of the Salt Lake House Scene," the past 18 years for Jesse Walker have been filled with promoting and performing the music he loves at a breakneck pace. His long-running NiteLite parties, now in their third year, are responsible for bringing some of the freshest underground House and Electronic acts through the W. Lounge in downtown Salt Lake, while simultaneously exposing notable young local DJ's to the consciousness of our scene. Jesse's vision has always been to make his events, and specifically NiteLite, the preeminent destination for groundbreaking, booty shaking, mind expanding dance music. Any night with Jesse behind the decks is sure to deliver on that promise.

Alastair Nee (SLC/Glasgow, Scotland)

The glorious land of pubs and clubs is where Alastair Nee's deep and passionate love for electronic music arose. Born in Glasgow Scotland, Alastair has electro music running through his veins; it was in the underground clubs of downtown Glasgow (The Arches, Sub Club, Soundhaus) that he first dove headfirst into this magic realm of music over ten years ago. Now in Salt Lake City, after cruising through life in Austin, Phoenix, and Boise, Alastair broke into the growing SLC electronic music culture just under a year ago, with a diverse style of music that blends Tech House, Minimal and Electro flawlessly into a twisting and deep subversive sound that is never stagnant and always danceable. Influenced by many different genres and recognizing the depth and scope of electronic music as a whole, Alastair aims to bring beats that touch the soul, and force it to dance joyously until your mind explodes with pleasure and your ears bleed with satisfaction. His influences range from minimal-techno pioneers Richie Hawtin and Trentemoller to electro disco nu-ravers Booka Shade, Simian Mobile Disco and Guy J to the abstract electronic musings of Authechre. Alastair believes in music with personality and creativity. Tunes that reache beyond the norm, display extra amounts of style through the use of technology and rhythm and take your mind to exotic places, all while maintaining what matters most in electronic music; a beat that makes you DANCE. So prepare yourself to do just that.
