Carnival of Souls

I went to the Utah State Fair yesterday. Having grown up in Idaho, I've been to my share of rodeo's, fairs, livestock shows and barn dances but until now, never the Utah Fair. KC & The Sunshine Band were playing so that was an added incentive as we could hear them from every corner of the grounds. Beyond that, it was everything I wanted it to be and a bit spooky! My toy camera snaps aren't that great on their own but viewed together you get a sense of this strange cultural phenomenon. (photos enlarge)
