Two new food trucks roll off the assembly line this week in SLC. A "Waki Paki" named Mo Burki shares the flavors of his native home (Pakistan) while the Lewis Brothers, Charlie and Oliver Lewis put their spin on a revolving showcase of world cuisine, much of it vegan or vegitarian. From their respective About pages...

WAKI PAKICoriander. Cumin. Chili. Ginger. Mo Burki grew up with the intense and fragrant flavors of his family's native home in Pakistan and spent years hovering over his mother Anise in the kitchen. Influenced by her cooking, Mo, formerly a mechanical engineer, is now bringing a fusion of the food he grew up with and the famous "street food" of Pakistan to Salt Lake City, in a truck he custom built. Waki Paki is cruising the streets of SLC, so be sure to check out Twitter.com/wakipakifood to find us!

LEWIS BROS. Growing up in the Bay Area, Charlie and Oliver Lewis enjoyed a wide array of delicious ethnic street foods that they've had trouble locating with frequency and ease in Salt Lake City. With Lewis Bros. Food Truck, they'll bring a taste of their youth to the Beehive State! Follow their eclectic menu by checking here daily and at Twitter.com/LewisBrosFood

Thursday afternoons are a good time to catch all the trucks parked downtown behind the Wells Fargo building on Gallivan Avenue. Good luck guys!
