A COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH’S MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGN PROGRAM AND FICE GALLERY.
Fice gallery is to host a range of interactive installations and DJs that will provide visitors with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Salt Lake City House music. The event brings together creatives from across the country, including ThenWhat | Brand Lab, The Frankie Knuckles Foundation, New City Movement, Fatfish Media, and Social Antidote.
Groove to House music from eras past and present while you browse through a timeline of House history and culture in the indoor gallery space before being transported outside to the ‘Neon Desert’. The backlot will be the energetic core of the event where guests can dance to prominent House music DJs and purchase exclusive event memorabilia.
Whether you are completely new to House music or a Paradise Garage veteran, all are welcome to join us in celebrating House music in Utah.
The Frankie Knuckles Foundation is a not-for-profit educational and cultural organization dedicated to the advancement of Frankie Knuckles’ mission as the global ambassador of house music through media, conservation, and public events continuing and supporting the causes he advocated.
