Sassmouth // Smart Bar Residents | God Particle
The ever-elusive SASSMOUTH is one of the more fascinating selectors from Planet Chicago. Known for abundant basslines, dazzling melodies, and unparalleled orchestral ear, she is wild and free and coming to Salt Lake City.
Her ‘god particle’ label launched in 2013, and ‘Planet Chicago’ club night a year later at the legendary ‘Smartbar’, where she continues her residency. Following the similarly paramount achievement of being enlisted as a resident for the San Francisco based ‘As You Like It’ production group in early 2013, this inimitable force continues to sensibly organize each and every appearance, covering specific genres, regions and/or habitats (deep oceans, techno, Great Lakes, house, shallow seas, electro, urban rivers, experimental, etc.) until the entire Planet has been magnificently represented by the most astonishing sounds you've ever experienced.
Adam Stolz // Open Channel | The Saturday Mess
A DJ and producer based in Chicago, Adam stays creative in many forms. His latest hip-hop project Open Channel demonstrates his range, while his DJ sets show his Midwest roots. An early mentor to Salt Lake's Matthew Fit, Adam will be sharing his love of all things house, techno on wax!
Choice // aka Nicole Jaatoul | Clan:destine
As one of Salt Lake City's premier DJ's Nicole knows best how to play for the crowd while sharing the sounds she loves. We are thrilled to have her in the mix.
Matthew Fit // New City Movement
Matthew Fit remains inspired by his memories of I-94, the highway connecting Detroit and Chicago where he came of age at raves and warehouse parties surrounding Kalamazoo. Matthew's sets sew the past and future together with the energy only a dyed-in-the-wool Midwesterner can bring. Through his association with New City Movement, and his work in the community, he has helped bring his new home of Salt Lake City closer to the house and techno sounds he holds dear.
