YOU — CITIZEN:
Artists, designers, architects, and creatives—do you hear the soundless dipping of canoe paddles, or the ring of the axe hewing a home out of the wilderness? Do you see covered wagons trekking across mountains and through the desert? Do you feel the Ancestral Puebloans chipping away at the canyon walls? Do you dream of trails worn down under native feet hundreds of years ago? Do you think of the many past stewards of this place?
You are the descendant of those people. You are the guardian of what they built. The future of America depends on you. This moment in our nation’s history demands YOUR courage, YOUR ingenuity and self-reliance, YOUR vision, and YOUR citizenship. Will you answer the call?
