As the Spring Fashion shows come to a close, one is left wanting more. I was excited to see Balenciaga still on a winning streak with designer Nicolas Ghesquière shape-shifing, just in time, leaving all of his copycats in the dust. (left)

And, you'll always get a twist with favorites Victor & Rolf where apparently, it's all about covering the models faces beyond recognition and "electro-plating" fabrics for that "look but don't touch" effect. (right)

On the color front, we saw a parade of reds and dark burgandys mixed with purple and royal blue in many of the collections while others stuck to black as it is the color the world feels expressed in best these days. [Pictures by Style.com]
