The Utah Arts Festival is coming up next on June 21st through the 24th. Two artists that piqued my interest are Angelique Kidjo, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Angelique is a Beninese Grammy-nominated singer, composer, and performer who's latest album DjinDjin features guest appearances by Carlos Santana, Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, Peter Gabriel, Amadou and Mariam, Ziggy Marley, and Branford Marsalis. The 'Legendary' Preservation Hall Jazz Band are the long time residents of the venerable music venue of the same name located in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter.

Unlike last year, my only involvement is creating the soundtrack for the returning Filthy Gorgeous fashion show which will be happening once a day at the East side steps of the City & County Building. The theme of the show is “Filthy Gorgeous Rock and           Roll Wonderland.”
