The Battle Of 7.7.07

Music times fashion equals my new Battles teeshirt from last nights show at the Urban Lounge (thanks Carly!!!). The Nueva York based math rockers impressed as they sweat out the acidic building blocks that make up their acclaimed album “Mirrored” on Warp Records. Some of the audience seemed to grow tired of Battles anti-pop, stream of Confucius delivery (that or the sweltering heat) while the rest of us kept busy delving through the mini-mosh pit. Needless to say, a shower was in order as soon as I got home.
