Faded Memories

My family gave me a box of old childhood VHS tapes recently so I've been searching around for someone in the area that does VHS conversion to digital media. Pricing and options vary dramatically from $22-$45 per tape at Inkley's and TV Specialists. Then I found a guy who offers the perfect 'no frills' package. He gives you the raw converted files (to edit in iMovie or whatever) as well as .mv4 instead of DVD's (which he refers to as an outdated medium but still offers) on a flash or external drive for just $10 a tape. Bring your own drive or he can add it into the cost. Aside from a drive to Sandy... not bad right? So if your VHS tapes are slowly demagnetizing in the basement you might want to give this guy a jingle.
