Kimball Art Center Transformation Project
The Kimball Art Center in Park City announced it's Transformation Project this past Summer, an international architectural design competition to reimagine the delapidated 1929 Kimball Bros. garage into an inspired community center. Some impressive big name architecture firms have submitted proposals along with Salt Lake's own Sparano+Mooney which are on view now at the project website. A jury will decide on the winner and the project is expected to begin mid 2013 with completion in 2015. Shown above, The Kimball by BIG / Bjarke Ingels Group.
