Frequencies For A New Phase, Kinetik Magazine

Kinetik is a new national art/music/culture mag based here in Utah. Who knew! 

From our friend Annalisa Millo who has been working the launch:

"2017 hit us like a waterfall of magical adobe bricks! with BenJamin Empenidas at the helm gathering interviews and content for the last 1.5 years, building a website for the last 7 months, and now tying it all together with our print mag, we’ve been working relentlessly on making some magic happen and we’re ecstatic to announce the launch of Kinetik Magazine! 

[ Issue 1 ] previously unreleased and unpublished features include interviews with Dirtybird records boss man Claude VonStroke and Autograf, a report from techno mecca Berghain / Panorama Bar in Berlin, photo essay from of Shambhala Music Festival, an exploration of gender disparity in music by Huxley Anne, review of Sundance 2017 film, the handmaiden, and a ton more. 

In fact, we have more archived content than we know what to do with so we thought hey, let’s start a magazine. Who does that? You can’t just do that...

[ LAUNCH PARTY ] we’ll be handing out demo copies at the launch party this Thursday at Clubhouse on South Temple, then distributing nationwide. launch party features an all-female dj lineup, we’ll be live-streaming the set and event, Boiler Room style."
