Buku Krew

Pushing 40 and I've never really been to a large music festival in my life, so I'm pretty darn excited to be taking time off to visit New Orleans (also a first) and hitting the BUKU Music+Art Project on the Mississippi this weekend. Not sure what to expect. Will I loose my hearing? Will I experience full-on music ADD? Keep an eye on me and see how I adapt. There are some swass artists on the bill including Jamie Jones, Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, Eats Everything, Bob Moses, Die Antwood, Gramatik... a ton of others including two bands I've had the luck to play with, Big Freedia and Empire of the Sun! I'll also be dropping into the NOLA Housing Project party with an afterhours DJ set if I survive BUKU. Pray for sunshine and rainbows.
