JESSE WALKER’S 7TH ANNUAL ‘BUNNY HOP’ EASTER BRUNCH, SUNDAY APRIL, 16 TO BENEFIT PLANNED PARENTHOOD ACTION COUNCIL OF UTAH
On Sunday, April 16th The Garage on Beck Street will host Mr. Jesse Walker’s 7th Annual ‘Bunny Hop,’ with a breakfast buffet, charity raffle, bonnet contest and select DJ’s playing vinyl records from brunch to sunset. The 7 Deadly Sins themed 7th anniversary will include prize baskets, gift certificates from local retailers, an all-day egg hunt, special guest performances by DJ Mauricio Aviles (San Francisco), Major Tom (solo) and an appearance by the real Easter Bunny!
The day-long ‘hop’, which attracts an alternative crowd ranging in age and identity will benefit Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah. The event carries a tradition of community interaction and goodwill, helping attendees release a healthy dose of spring fever in the process. This year may also be the last Bunny Hop at The Garage, on Beck, due to negotiations with Tesoro to purchase the property where it is currently located.

About the Egg Hunt and Raffle Prizes:
Hundreds of eggs which can be found throughout the day are stuffed with candy and prizes from area sponsors, festivals and retail participants including The Garage and Stoneground restaurants. Additional lollipop/raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each. The proceeds from those donations go to the Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah.
Planned Parenthood Action Council (PPAC) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Association of Utah. PPAC engages in educational and electoral activity including legislative advocacy, voter education, and grassroots organizing to promote Planned Parenthood Association of Utah’s mission.
PPAC works to ensure women and men have access to the family planning and reproductive health care services and information they need. We intend to create a world where sexual and reproductive rights are human rights; access to health care doesn’t depend on who you are; and a world where every person has the opportunity to choose their own path to a healthy and meaningful life.
