Exos is one of the most experienced and respected techno artists from Iceland. Since 1997 Exos has released more than twenty vinyl records and three albums.

Exos is synonymous with quality as DJ and producer, he carries the purist guarantee for deep and unpolluted techno. He is known for destroying dancefloors on three decks in his appearances at Awakenings, Fabric, Output, Berghain and Tresor. He has been making techno since the 90s and more recently been touring heavily with Nina Kraviz and her label трип (voted one of the best labels of the year by RA). His productions past and present have a timeless techno feel, and Exos has collaborations and remix projects with the likes of Nina Kraviz, Dj Rush, Ben Sims, Mark Broom and Traumer.

Chavez vs Matthew Fit

NYC and SLC collide as these two vinyl stalwarts present a special 3-hour set that aims to be both carefree and intentional—blurring genres of techno to create a celebration on the dance floor.

Chavez

Placing emphasis on quality first, Chavez has helped curate the Brooklyn based imprint, Nil, into a respected output for electronic music. Aside from label duties, he has made his rounds throughout New York's city vibrant underground scene. Making appearances on Boiler Room and venues that include Club Der Visionaere, Cielo, Output, Sankeys to private warehouses; playing alongside Petre Inspirescu, The Martinez Brothers, Dan Ghenacia, Willie Graff, Anthony Collins, and Anthony Parasole to name a few. His focus on quality has helped Chavez carefully select and manipulate records from all eras of dance music to create one cohesive statement. Looking to blur the lines of genre, Chavez’s energy has helped propel him to become one of NYC's respected selectors.

Matthew Fit

Matthew remains inspired by his memories of I-94, the highway connecting Detroit and Chicago where he came of age at raves and warehouse parties surrounding Kalamazoo. Matthew's sets sew the past and future together with the energy only a dyed-in-the-wool Midwesterner can bring. Through his association with New City Movement, and his work in the community, he has helped bring his new home of Salt Lake City closer to the house and techno sounds he holds dear.

Matthew loves the outdoors, almost as much as playing alongside DJs like Jason Kendig, Sian, Mark Farina, Arapu and NCM founder Jesse Walker. An avid record collector, educator, and mentor, Matthew Fit's passion for the scene and its sounds are unmatched.
